Commission Representation
Companies that are not ready to open an overseas office still need a presence in the market. Pathfinder Global EXIM can represent exporters and importers on an agreed commission basis, handling introductions, follow-up, coordination and local trade communication.
The Problem
Companies need a presence in a target market long before an overseas office is viable — someone to handle enquiries, meetings and follow-up locally, on agreed commercial terms.
Who this is for
Exporters, importers, manufacturers and trading companies that want representation in a target market before committing to an overseas office.

Pathfinder responsibilities
Commission trigger
Commission becomes payable only on a defined trigger event agreed in writing before work begins — typically a concluded and paid transaction with a counterparty introduced by Pathfinder Global EXIM within the agreed territory and term.
Exclusivity and non-exclusivity
Mandates may be exclusive or non-exclusive within a defined territory and product scope. Exclusivity, where agreed, is time-bound and reviewed against agreed activity expectations.
Conflict-of-interest disclosure
Where a potential conflict exists — for example an existing mandate with a competing product, territory or counterparty — it is disclosed before the arrangement is signed, and the engagement proceeds only with written acknowledgement from both sides.
No-guarantee statement
No representation arrangement carries a guarantee of enquiries, orders or commercial outcomes. Commitments are limited to the activity, coverage and reporting defined in the agreement.
Typical timeline
Representation mandates typically run for an initial 6–12 month term, reviewed at agreed intervals.
Commercial model
Engagements may use a fixed advisory fee, milestone-based fee, success commission or a combination, depending on the agreed scope.
Limitations
Representation does not guarantee orders, revenue or market share. Pathfinder Global EXIM does not sign contracts, hold title to goods or receive payment on behalf of the client. Commission representation is engaged under a written agreement covering scope, territory, commission structure and duration before any work begins.
